Controller: Marian Penguin Arts Studio SRL, Romania. Contact: support@ownthereality.com. OwnTheReality is a self-awareness journal in the Lifestyle category. It is not a medical device. It does not diagnose, treat, or give medical advice. Data we collect: account email, optional name, a password hash or a Google or Apple account identifier, the marks you choose (shadow or light, an optional short note, an optional thread, and the time), language, reminder hours, theme, a custom lock-screen phrase, and subscription status. We do not collect health records, contacts, photos, or precise location. Purposes: to keep your account, to show the archive you asked for, to send a password-reset message when you request one, to unlock Premium when Stripe or a store confirms it, and to keep the service reliable. GDPR legal bases: contract (the account and the journal you keep), legitimate interest (security, the generous rate limit, and knowing whether the service is working), and consent where a store purchase or a notification permission asks for it. Retention: marks and the account stay until you delete them. Password-reset links expire. Mobile refresh tokens expire and can be revoked. Hosting logs kept by the processors are short-lived. Processors: Vercel (hosting), Supabase (Postgres only — not the login system), Google (optional sign-in), Apple (optional sign-in and App Store billing), Stripe (web billing only), RevenueCat (App Store and Google Play subscriptions), Resend (email). Card numbers stay with Stripe, Apple, or Google. We do not store them. Your rights: access, correction, export (Premium CSV), erasure, restriction, and objection, and the right to complain to a supervisory authority. Erasure is in Settings, on the public page /delete-account, or by writing to support@ownthereality.com. Children: the service is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly create accounts for them. Subscriptions: Premium is $4.99 per month or $29.99 per year. The yearly plan includes a 7-day free trial when the store or Stripe offers it. It renews until you cancel. Deleting the account does not by itself cancel an App Store or Google Play subscription.
